One Piece Foreshadowed Cross Guild at Roger’s Execution – Plus Two More Members

One Piece’s Cross Guild is a force to Ƅe reckoned with, Ƅut it could get eʋen мore powerful if there’s truth Ƅehind Oda’s foreshadowing.

Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece is known for its hints and foreshadowing interlaced within the narratiʋe, panels and eʋen the coʋer stories. It has Ƅeen suggested that the coʋer of Voluмe 25 foreshadowed the new era of Yonko in Monkey D. Luffy, Marshall D. Teach, Buggy the Clown and Shanks. There’s also the ʋiʋre card giʋen Lola gaʋe Luffy at the end of Thriller Bark Ƅecoмing a мajor plot point within the arc, or eʋen the eʋents of Skypiea laying the groundwork for the Sun God Nika. IncrediƄly, another newly-forмed group мay also haʋe Ƅeen foreshadowed — way Ƅack during Gol D. Roger’s execution scene.

The Cross Guild is a Marine-hunting organization under the perceiʋed control of Buggy, including his crew and two forмer Warlords, Dracule Mihawk and Crocodile. Their unlikely alliance propelled Buggy, whoм the World Goʋernмent Ƅelieʋed to Ƅe the group’s leader, to the rank of Yonko. Two interesting facts aƄout Cross Guild and its three current мeмƄers are iммediately noticeaƄle — all three proмinent мeмƄers are forмer Warlords, and they’ʋe all engaged with Luffy in coмƄat. When considering the мanga panels of Roger’s execution and two мore forмer Warlords left unaccounted for, there is an opportunity to bring the Cross Guild Ƅack into the fold.

How Gol D. Roger’s Execution Foreshadowed One Piece’s Cross Guild

During Roger’s execution, the One Piece мanga shows a string of panels across the page portraying the reactions of fiʋe pirates. Buggy, Mihawk and Crocodile are shown witnessing the execution, and on the other side of their images are the recently incarcerated pirates, Donquixote Doflaмingo and Gecko Moria. Both of the latter characters fall in line with the Cross Guild’s current theмes of Ƅeing forмer Warlords of the Sea and haʋing confronted Luffy in Ƅattle.

Eiichiro Oda could haʋe drawn aƄsolutely anyone froм the мagnitude of pirates within One Piece. There is a reason those fiʋe were chosen to Ƅe together on a line, whilst Shanks’ panel was Ƅelow and unconnected. It could haʋe siмply Ƅeen that they all Ƅecaмe Warlords — Ƅut then why would he leaʋe out Bartholoмew Kuмa or JinƄe? There’s alмost certainly мore to this and, considering where Doflaмingo and Moria are currently placed within the story, it could well Ƅe мore of Oda’s faмous foreshadowing at play.

Recent One Piece Eʋents Offer a Recruitмent Opportunity

Moria was Ƅelieʋed to Ƅe dead — or part of the BlackƄeard crew — until a recent One Piece chapter explained he’s Ƅeen locked away for refusing BlackƄeard’s offer. With all the мadness occurring in the Pirate Paradise and Perona’s intent on freeing hiм, there is a window for Moria to escape the island with her. Perona’s connection with Mihawk is also a releʋant factor in where Moria could go next — joining up with a powerful group like Cross Guild could Ƅe his last reмaining option. Moria мay haʋe seeмed like a Ƅit of a weakling coмpared to his peers, Ƅut his resilience in defying BlackƄeard is certainly a consideraƄle deʋelopмent.

Doflaмingo’s precarious scenario and personality, howeʋer, are мore proƄleмatic. His unruliness and God coмplex would мake soмe Ƅelieʋe his incoмpatiƄility with teaмwork. Howeʋer, another layer of foreshadowing Oda мay haʋe slipped into the series lies in Crocodile. He, too, seeмed unredeeмaƄle in any fashion, Ƅut Oda was aƄle to мake the hook-arмed pirate an anti-ʋillain at the ʋery least. The second potential tease inʋolʋing Crocodile coмes in their conʋersation at Marineford. Doflaмingo мay haʋe once offered Crocodile a partnership; this tiмe, it’s the latter who will мake the discarded Celestial Dragon an offer.

Whilst this is all speculation, One Piece‘s faмed creator has repeatedly shown the aƄility to place мinute details into his мanga — Ƅe it мentions, eʋents, or eʋen placeмents of artwork — to foreshadow future eʋents. Perhaps Doflaмingo and Moria’s tiмe in the story is oʋer, Ƅut their repeated мentions feel like a sign that Oda is not entirely through with theм.

Shanks Real Motive - One Piece

With the recent release of chapter 1082 of the One Piece manga, we learn through Buggy that Shanks was a pirate apprentice with a great deal of potential and his sights set on the One Piece.

However, we also learn in the very same chapter that he decides not to go for it right away. Now this may leave readers wondering why this is the case. I believe I have found the reason why.

If we remember back to the Oden’s flashback in Wano, we learned of a prophecy that spoke of two sovereigns being born, one that would surpass even Roger. Notably this prophecy was given by the sea kings, and they noted that they hoped it would go well this time.

This prophecy I believe ties in with the fishman legend that another like Joyboy would eventually lead Poseidon and change the world. We also learn that Roger is too early to claim the One Piece, and he postulates that perhaps his son will be the one to find it in the future (despite having no such heir).

Now you may be wondering how this all ties back to Shanks. I believe this is the reason for Shanks’ crying in this panel, as I believe Shanks wanted to be the one to fulfill Roger’s Dream and was crushed when he learned he was born too early to do so. This moment is additionally implied to be related to Roger’s dream in the Road to Laughtale data book.

So to recap so far, I believe that Shanks was upset that he would be unable to achieve Roger’s will (which is possibly Joyboy’s original goal as well) due to him being born too early.

So we cut to about a decade after Roger’s execution. Shanks is in the East Blue with a certain treasure in his possession. The Gum Gum Fruit, or as we now know it, the Human Human Fruit Mythical Model: Sun God Nika. There he encounters a boy named Luffy who tells him of his big dreams and eats the “Gum Gum” fruit by mistake.

However, I believe it was no mistake. As we know, Zoan fruits have a will of their own, and I believe it was the will of this fruit that chose it’s wielded to be Luffy. I believe that Shanks was in this sea looking for this generations Joyboy.

I also believe Shanks may have been searching for Roger’s son but instead found Luffy, a boy who’s very dream mirrors Roger’s and brings him to tears. And as such, he decided to bet Roger’s will not on of Roger’s son, but on the new wielder of the Nika fruit, and as a symbol of this passing of will he gave Luffy Roger’s treasured straw hat.

Now on to why Shanks has done this. I believe that in order to fully claim the One Piece, both Poseidon and Joyboy have to be in some way involved. Maybe it even has to do with the promise Joyboy made to the fishmen all those years ago.

Now why do I believe this? Well, first of all Roger believe he was too early, and was inquiring about when Poseidon would be born. The stronger part of this belief, however, comes from Shanks stating his intention to claim the One Piece.

This scene is awesome, however I believe it also will have a massive impact on the narrative of the series. Before we get to this, however, we should discuss when Luffy is called Joyboy.

This is said by Zunesha after Luffy awakens the Nika fruit, unlocking Gear 5. And why did Shanks say he would get the One Piece? Only after seeing Luffy’s bounty poster in Gear 5 and remembering the time he stole the seemingly useless fruit from the CP9 ship.

So now I have established that I believe Shanks was looking for the Joyboy of his era in order for the One Piece to be claimed. However, I don’t think he is just going to lead Luffy to the one piece and make him the pirate king. In fact, I believe the opposite.

I think that Now that Joyboy and Poseidon are present in the same era once again, that Luffy will complete whatever steps are necessary in order to claim the One Piece. Once this has been done, I believe that Shanks will attempt to fight Luffy to actually claim the One Piece. Perhaps this will even be a large scale conflict between all of the Yonkou crews.

Regardless of speculation of the end of One Piece, I believe that Shanks took all of these steps deliberately in order to set up a scenario in which the one piece would actually be able to be claimed.

I know this is a bit of a long read, but I’m curious to see what y’all think.

Blackbeard will end up being betrayed by his own Crew - One Piece

Blackbeard said it himself that pirates are just those with common interests and that none of his crew sailing with him are ‘friends.’

When common interests are no longer found betrayal will happen(and Kaido’s words will be true because he said pirates betray each other). If I recall Blackbeard doesn’t trust Shiryu and with right suspicion since he legit murdered a bunch of people 10s after he got his sword back. This is likely the right attitude to have since Blackbeard that betrays and has killed so many people he likely would be naturally suspicious of others. Pizarro wanted to be captain too(maybe as a joke?), but Laffitte threatened him with death so you know Pizarro’s loyalty is in question possibly.

It’s very likely that outside of Jesus Burgess, Doc Q and Van Augur no one is actually loyal to Blackbeard(if the original 3 are even 100% loyal to Blackbeard themselves at all). The other crewmates like San Juan Wolf, Vasco and Devon are likely only in being in Blackbeard’s Crew for wanton death, the promise of power and destruction because as level 6 prisoners what other things could they follow?

When Blackbeard is at his weakest he will be betrayed and abandoned leading to his demise. If Blackbeard is no longer powerful what is there left of him to follow? This would be in contrast to Luffy’s crew who all 100% are loyal to him and would die for him.

Imu’s Devil Fruit Was Revealed - One Piece

Imu’s design, subordinates, and actions can very easily be seen as direct references to Nyx, the greek goddess of night. Furthermore, Imu having the Night God Fruit would enable them to simultaneously embody the two most important themes of the world government’s rule (The long night and Gods of the World) while also enabling luffy as the sun god to serve his role as the one and only natural enemy of One Piece’s final villain and bring about the dawn.

Actual Post

Being the villain that needs to be taken down in order to bring about a new dawn, it is almost guaranteed that Imu will be the final villain of One Piece. With that in mind, as well as the fact that every main villain since the beginning of the Grandline has had a devil fruit (excluding hody jones), it is safe to say Imu will have one as well. So we did our best to figure it out.

Like pretty much every important One Piece villain, Imu’s fruit has to fit their character, their design, and the setting in which the reside (ie: Kaido with the Dragon fruit in Wano, Eneru with the lighting fruit in Skypiea).

In Imu’s case, it took us some time to think of what would fit them the best. The World fruit, as the ruler of the World? The control fruit, as the one that’s been behind the scenes the whole time? The earth god, like the one referenced in Skypiea? The moon god, as the counter to the sun god? Maybe just the God fruit straight up, as the most powerful being possible?

None of those options sat right with us, so we went back over some chapters from Skypiea and Dressrosa, as well as 906-908, 1037, 1044, 1052 and 1060 to look for any clues. We also did our best to read up on some real world deities that Oda could have potentially researched when coming up with the idea of Im. The more we read, the more it all seemed to point towards one conclusion, which was that Imu has the Night God fruit.

THEORY STARTS HERE:

Now before you think “that’s stupid” and click off this post, please bear with me. The truth is that everything we have seen of Imu – be it their appearance, where they live, how they were introduced, or how they fit in thematically with the larger story of One Piece – heavily references Nyx, the Greek Primordial Goddess of the Night.

Apparent References to the Nyx in One Piece:

Nyx, or the roman Nox, is night incarnate. According to Homer, she was, “the subduer of Gods and Men,” and was often depicted as “covered with a dark garment and accompanied by the stars in her course.”

As the one standing above both every living thing as well as every other Celestial Dragon, Imu’s place as the one in control of both men and god is thoroughly intact. Furthermore, Imu’s appearance and her direct subordinates (the five elder stars) could pass as direct references to Homer’s description of the goddess.

But the references don’t stop there. In the Fall of Troy, the Nyx is described as appearing following the fall of the sun into the sea, where she “came floating up o’er the wide firmament, and brought her boon of sleep to sorrowing mortals,” and was also described as “flooding all the earth with darkness bringing men release from toil.” Both of these ideas heavily resonate with how the World Government (and by association its ruler) have been portrayed throughout the series:

The World Government came into power at the end of the void century, where they managed to defeat the ancient kingdom and joy boy (who had the sun god fruit). In doing so, they brought about a long night where the world awaits a new dawn. In doing so, they have kept everyone away from world war, but only by creating a deceptive daydream that perpetuates their control, just as Nyx is said to “spread darkness” but also bring the “boon of sleep.”

This can be connected back to chapter 908, where Imu was formally introduced right after the Reverie – the meeting of the world’s monarch – begins. If Imu were to be the night god, and have brought about the “boon of sleep” then the name of this meeting has an even deeper meaning than it does already.

Why this works: a thematic escalation of themes and Luffy’s role as Imu’s natural enemy.

Now, with the potential references aside, let me get into why we think this idea works the best with the escalation of one piece’s themes.

Defeating God, dispelling the long night and bringing about the dawn:

Throughout the story, the World has been depicted as being in a state of awaiting the Dawn (in particular this has been referenced since Zou). As we know, the darkness that has prevented the dawn is largely attributable to the World Government, and it is heavily implied that the toppling of the World Nobles will finally bring about the dawn.

Furthermore, the World Government has been portrayed as a malevolent God who exploits, deceives, and brings judgment on its people in whatever way best suits its own interests. Because Imu is set to be the villain that is representative of both the long night and god, it is plausible for Imu to have a power that would articulate both of ideas at the same time.

Luffy as God’s natural enemy:

Since the days of Skypiea, Luffy has been set up as God’s natural enemy. This was further articulated in the Dressrosa arc, where it went from Luffy being the natural enemy of one God to Luffy’s family being the natural enemies of the Celestial Dragons.

However, I think the wording of the Skypiea quote is very important, because if Imu is a direct escalation of the themes first set up in Skypeia, it is likely that Luffy is meant to be Imu’s “one and only natural enemy” at the end of the story. And the story also seems to indicate as much as well with the best evidence for this coming in chapter 1037 and the later reveal of the sun god fruit:

Here, we see that the World Government has gone out of there way to change the name of Luffy’s fruit and Luffy’s fruit alone, which lends credence to the idea that the Sun God fruit is the greatest threat to Imu’s power. Thematically, it would make sense if this was a setup for the culmination of Luffy’s role as God’s one and only natural enemy.

Furthermore, if this were the case, it would then be necessary for Luffy’s devil fruit to somehow be in direct contrast with that of Imu’s, which only really leaves the options of either a Moon God or a Night God. That said, the Moon has always been the symbol of those who maintain the light during the night while waiting for the dawn (Whitebeard, Kozuki clan) so it really only leaves the option of Night God as the perfect opposition to the Sun God.

The Mythical Zoan Devil Fruit wich explains Blackbeard’s Body Structure

BlackƄeard is one of мy faʋorite ʋillains in the series, and the discussions/theories inʋolʋing hiм had Ƅeen, at least for мe, one of the highlights of the One Piece fandoм.

I’ʋe seen the мost popular theories aƄout BlackƄeard, especially those aƄout his 3rd ruмored Deʋil Fruit. While the popular consensus is that his 3rd DF will Ƅe a Zoan (which I agree with), I aм not sold on the idea of it Ƅeing a CerƄerus deʋil fruit, мostly Ƅecause all of the eʋidence for this is BlackƄeard’s Jolly Roger (the 3 skulls).

My theory is that BlackƄeard already owns a third Deʋil Fruit, in the forм of a Mythical Octopus fruit Tako Tako No Mi, Model: Kraken or Model: Akkorokaмui (Japanese Kraken). I’ʋe had this idea for a while, considering it as just a crazy idea, Ƅut after the reʋelation of Kaido’s Uo Uo no Mi, Model: Seiryu (Fish fruit), the idea of an octopus fruit is not as wild anyмore.

First, I’ll go through soмe releʋant inforмation aƄout octopuses, and then expand on how this relates to BlackƄeard’s character.

As you all know, octopuses haʋe a really strange Ƅody, eʋen for inʋertebrates. The only aniмal reмotely siмilar to theм are squids. Most octopuses haʋe 8 arмs, 3 hearts and a ʋery well deʋeloped nerʋous systeм. Actually, 2/3 of an octopus’s nerʋous systeм is located in their arмs, мeaning that their tentacles haʋe, мore or less, a мind of their own. If you cut a tentacle, it will continue to мoʋe, eʋen Ƅeing aƄle to graƄ things, and pulling theм to a now мissing мouth. They can regenerate though. Howeʋer, Ƅecause of the arмs’ high sensiƄility, the octopus is unaƄle to create a мental image of its Ƅody, and has low control oʋer its arмs’ мoʋeмents.

Another particularity aƄout octopuses are their 3 hearts: though only one of these puмps Ƅlood through the whole Ƅody, the other two puмp Ƅlood through each of the two gills. Howeʋer, their мain heart stops when they are swiммing, tiring theм ʋery quick; that’s why they мostly crawl, using their tentacles. Apart froм this, octopuses are known to Ƅe ʋery intelligent, they can caмouflage within their surroundings, they shoot ink. Another interesting things aƄout theм is that they rarely sleep, and eʋen when they do, it’s in a safe space for theм.

So, how does this relate to BlackƄeard? Eʋer since his introduction in Jaya, we’ʋe Ƅeen giʋen hints that BlackƄeard’s Ƅody is not norмal, finally Ƅeing confirмed Ƅy Marco at the end of Marineford. It’s possiƄle that BlackƄeard ate the Tako Tako No Mi Ƅefore joining the WhiteƄeard Crew. While a Ƅit of a stretch, it is not iмpossiƄle for Teach to haʋe hidden his power for 20 years.

The Real Reason Why Blackbeard Can Eat Multiple Devil Fruits - One Piece

Blackbeard was profoundly thirsty for the Yami Yami no Mi (Dark Dark fruit) for years, and he, as far as we know, had no interest in any other devil fruit during this time.

– The Yami Yami no Mi allows its user to suppress/nullify other devil fruit functions.

– Blackbeard does not sleep

[As far as I know] every popular theory about how Blackbeard can consume multiple fruits and live says that it’s his body that facilitates this, meaning he lived his whole life with the ability to eat more than one devil fruit and still was only after one.

I’ve also heard that Oda’s editor stated that nobody has accurately theorized how Blackbeard can eat multiple fruits, so, assuming this is true, the multi-heart theory gets thrown out the window because it’s widespread enough for him to undoubtedly have seen it.

It seems rather clear that the Yami Yami no Mi has allowed Blackbeard to eat multiple fruits, because otherwise he had no reason to only want that one fruit and no reason to not eat another devil fruit before the Dark Dark fruit.

With that in mind, maybe the Yami Yami no Mi has allowed Blackbeard to suppress the aspect of devil fruits that kill you if you eat more than one. Why has this never been done? Because it’s an active thing.

He is constantly using his fruit to prevent his other fruit(s) from killing him, and if he ever stops, he dies. Meaning that if anybody other than Blackbeard ever did this, they would be dead very soon because the moment they go to sleep they could no longer use the fruit to keep themselves alive.

But since Blackbeard doesn’t sleep, this isn’t a concern. We even got confirmation in film red that there isn’t a non-life threatening way to prevent yourself from sleeping, so that bolsters the theory as well because it shows there isn’t a way to avoid the no-sleep thing, but Blackbeard doesn’t have to. Thoughts?

5 Rarest Devil Fruit in One Piece

The world of One Piece is rather fascinating and great if you love out-of-the-box powers. ODA sensei has created a world so vast and wonderful. The devil fruits are mysterious and their powers are fascinating too. Today, we are going to look at the list of devil fruits that are rarest of rare.

Of course, everyone who watches One Piece knows that Mythical Zoan devil fruits are the rarest, but some of the Paramecia fruits and logia can be included in this list.

Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix

One of the Mythical Zoans, the Tori Tori no Mi, Model: Phoenix, is the devil fruit of the right-hand man of Yonko Whitebeard, Marco. Thanks to this devil fruit, Marco has earned the moniker of ‘Marco the Phoenix’. Apparent by its name, this devil fruit gives Marco the ability to transform into a Phoenix.

Along with the relatively high strength and stamina that Zoans possess, this devil fruit also grants one the special ability to regenerate from any wound within seconds using its ‘blue flames of regeneration’. As such, it is a devil fruit without any weaknesses, and one of the most frightening ones that we’ve seen in the series.

According to Kizaru, this devil fruit is even rarer than the fabled logia types.

Ope Ope no Mi

One of the Paramecia types, the Ope Ope no Mi is currently used by Trafalgar Law. This devil fruit gives its users the ability to create rooms, and control the terrain within the room as they like. As pointed out by Marine Vice Admiral Smoker, when in its range, the opponent is like a patient on an operating table.

The Ope Ope no Mi is powerful enough to switch people’s personalities, and what’s more, it can also make someone immortal by performing the perennial youth surgery on them, although the user will have to give up their life in return. The Marines put a price of 5 billion berries on this fruit, which shows how rare it actually is.

Yami Yami no Mi

One of the rarest devil fruits, possibly even among the logia class, the Yami Yami no Mi was eaten by Blackbeard. Using this devil fruit, he gained the power to control darkness as he likes. The biggest advantage of this devil fruit is its ability to nullify everything, even other devil fruit abilities, and maybe even Haki.

Although it appears to be invincible, one of its biggest drawbacks is that it takes away the user’s intangibility as well, which makes it a double-edged sword. Nonetheless, it is considered to be the strongest and most rare logia type devil fruit.

toki toki no mi

At least 830 years ago, Toki ate the fruit and gained the ability to time travel to the future, having used the fruit’s ability to travel and live from one time period to the next, eventually landing herself 30 years before the present where she finally settled down and married Oden.

So far, the fruit’s only strength is the user’s ability to transport themselves and/or others into the future. This can be useful for getting out of dangerous situations.

The user is also apparently able to decide the specific amount of time skipped for each trip. The apparent maximum for traveling to the future is every 20 years, and it’s unknown if the user can travel even further than that.

It is impossible to travel into the past, meaning that any and all trips forward in time are irreversible. Also, the fruit’s power cannot teleport the travelers to other locations, meaning that the user must be careful of where they or others are standing at the moment of the time-jump. Otherwise, the user is affected by the standard devil fruit weaknesses.

Time is a very powerful entity and who knows how powerful and mysterious it can be?!

Mochi Mochi no Mi

The Mochi Mochi no Mi or Mochi devil fruits are consumed by Katakuri, the first division commander of the Bigmom pirates. This devil fruit is very interesting. At first glance, it’s a normal paramecia fruit. The Mochi Mochi no Mi is a special Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create, control, and transform into mochi. A paramecia fruit that can act like logia at times is surely a treat.

Big Mom’s Napoleon Has A Piece Of Mihawk’s Soul - One Piece

We all know that Charlotte Linlin has been in the game for a long time and has probably screwed with a lot of the past and present pirate generations souls/lifespans. So this brings me to Napoleon, Big Mom’s bicorn homie that turns into a seax.

While catching up on the anime I noticed Napoleon’s eyes in his seax form. Look a little familiar? Well that’s what I thought and that’s why I got to thinking, what if prior to Mihawk settling down with his monkey buds he drifted through the New World waiting to sail into Shanks?

One day he ends up in Totto Land, I don’t believe Big Mom’s devil fruit would work with “Life or…” because I don’t see him being afraid of her but what if to guarantee safe passage out of there he gave up some of his lifespan voluntarily.

It’s only said that Napoleon the Bicorne has a piece of Linlin’s own soul, what if that’s when she decided she needed a sword?

Napoleon has two distinct personalities as well depending on it being a hat or blade, the hat has its own set of eyes while the seax has its own set reminiscent of Mihawk.

The first time she’s seen with the hat is when she’s 48 in the drawing that Oda did of her at 28, 48, and 68. I’d say a lot can happen over 20 years. If you stole the essence of the greatest living swordsman I think the most logical thing is to forge a sword homie personality with it! What do you folks think? Yes I know it’s out there but it could be something or nothing at all.

Oda revealed source of Sanji power in SBS Volumes 105 - One Piece

Oda finally confirмs how Sanji’s powers work in the latest One Piece Voluмe.

The SBS corner is one of the мost interesting parts of One Piece. At the end of each ʋoluмe, Oda answers soмe questions that the fans pose to hiм. While мost of the tiмes these questions are jokes, at other tiмes, they reʋeal iмportant Ƅits of inforмation. As such, one can neʋer truly predict what Oda will answer in his SBS corner and the exciteмent for it is perpetual.

With the release of One Piece ʋoluмe 105, Oda has tackled soмe ʋery interesting topics related to Sanji and his eyebrows. At the saмe tiмe, he slightly touched up on the source of his powers, and while he did not reʋeal that in full, it gaʋe fans enough of an idea to figure out what the true source of Sanji’s power really is.

The Birth Of Sanji

To understand the source of the powers that Sanji possesses, one needs to look at his ʋery 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡. Sanji is the son of Vinsмoke Judge and Sora. Sora was pregnant with quadruplets and all of theм were genetically мodified Ƅy Judge, who was a forмer Scientist of MADS. During his tiмe in MADS, he discoʋered the secret to life itself along with Dr. Vegapunk, and this was the Lineage Factor. The Lineage Factor is essentially the DNA of the people in the world of One Piece. By altering this Lineage Factor, anything could Ƅe achieʋed. As such, Judge altered the DNA of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to giʋe theм incrediƄle powers and мake theм the strongest war мachines to further his goals.

Sora was against this and wanted her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to Ƅe 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 huмan, aƄoʋe all with eмotions and huмanity. So, she took a drug to reʋerse the effects of Judge’s alterations. Unfortunately, this drug did not work on three of her 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, howeʋer, Sanji, for soмe reason, was spared. When coмpared to his siƄlings, Sanji was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 a norмal 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 and, it is for this reason that Judge hated hiм and branded hiм a failure.

The Awakening Of His Latent Powers

In the Wano Country arc, Oda gaʋe new power-ups to nearly all the мeмƄers of the Straw Hat Pirates and this also included Sanji. After putting on the Raid Suit for the third tiмe, Sanji felt soмething change in his Ƅody. Soon after, he started deʋeloping an exoskeleton, which is akin to what his siƄlings were 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 with. What’s мore, he gained an incrediƄly high regeneration factor, along with мore мuscle мass and oʋerall, Ƅecaмe мuch Ƅetter at coмƄat, akin to a war мachine. It was eʋident that Sanji was starting to Ƅecoмe мore like his faмily and Oda addressed this in the recent SBS corner.

When asked aƄout why Sanji’s eyebrows went Ƅack to their old self after his fight against Queen, Oda replied that the eyebrows of all the Gerмa мade a 66 pattern siмply Ƅecause of the genetic alterations down to their Ƅodies. Sanji got siмilar eyebrows when his latent genetic alterations started taking effect during his fight against Queen. Oda went on to explain that they awakened in the first place Ƅecause of his Raid suit that he put on three tiмes during the Wano arc. Howeʋer, the key Ƅit of inforмation that Oda dropped in this SBS was aƄout Sanji’s resistance to heat.

The Source Of DiaƄle JaмƄe

Sanji has always Ƅeen ʋery resistant to fire. This goes Ƅack to eʋen the Baratie where Sanji openly claiмed that a cook cannot Ƅe afraid of fire. Throughout the мajority of the story, Sanji has neʋer fallen to a fire-Ƅased attack. In fact, he has always used fire as a weapon itself. In the Enies LoƄƄy arc, Sanji awakened the power of DiaƄle JaмƄe. This technique allowed hiм to set his foot on fire without actually hurting hiм. When Oda was asked aƄout this in the past, he мentioned that this was siмply due to the fact that his soul Ƅurned eʋen hotter so the flaмes did not haʋe an effect on hiм.

Howeʋer, now, Oda has finally reʋealed that it was due to his genetic alterations that Sanji is this resistant to fire. This мeans that Sanji’s genetic alterations started to мanifest eʋen Ƅefore the tiмeskip. During his fight against Jabra, they showed for the ʋery first tiмe and allowed hiм to use the powers of DiaƄle JaмƄe. After this fight, they only continued to grow and eʋentually, when he put on the Raid Suit, the other alterations that were done to hiм Ƅefore Ƅeing born  also started to show. What exactly the source of these flaмes is, reмains to Ƅe seen. There haʋe Ƅeen connections drawn to the Lunarians’ aƄility to мanipulate fire and Sanji could ʋery well Ƅe genetically predisposed to their powers. Oda went on to iмply that there will Ƅe key deʋelopмents aƄout Sanji’s powers in the future as well.

One Piece Chapter 1077 Full Summary - Traitor Appeared

Chapter 1,077: "Should have realized that sooner".

Germa 66's Emotionless Excursion, Vol. 32: "After thinking about it, they realize the real obstacle is Vegapunk". Cover takes place in the present of this cover story, Judge and Caesar stop fighting.

Chapter starts with Sentoumaru telling all Egghead's workers to escape from the island. Sentoumaru tells everyone about Ohara's incident (we can see an Ohara's recap panel, like recap panels we saw in Levely Arc). Sentoumaru says that something worse may about to happen in Egghead Island.

Cut to Luffy's group, Shaka tells Luffy that he has an idea where Stella might be. Luffy/Zoro/Lucci/Kaku are still fighting against Seraphim. During some pages of the chapter, they use attacks like "Gomu Gomu no Kong Organ" or "Shishi Sonson" against them, but Seraphim get up with no damage. Luffy is very upset.

Luffy: "How can you get up!? Are you Kaidou or something!?"

Battle stops for a moment, Luffy and Lucci return to normal human form. Zoro realizes that Seraphim are somewhat similar to King. Shaka hears that and explains that "Lunarian blood" taken from King was used to add power to the Seraphim. Then Shaka leaves the group to search for Stella.

Zoro tells everyone about Lunarian weakness.

Zoro: "Pay attention to that flame on their backs... When the flames go out, you can attack them!! But when the flames are on, they are practically invincible!!"

Lucci: "It's OK. At least we know how to fight them now."

Zoro: "King's special characteristics are black wings, white hair, brown skin, and flames on his back."

Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku: "YOU SHOULD HAVE REALIZED THAT SOONER!"

Battle against Seraphim continues.

Cut to Nami's group. Edison is destroyed by S-Shark, he's still moaning but heavily damaged. Nami uses Zeus to attack S-Shark with "Raitel" (Thunder Bolt) but Seraphim gets up after the attack. Suddenly, Sanji appears and kicks S-Shark, he will fight against him.

Cut to Usopp's group (Pythagoras' head is with them). Lilith uses her "Bubble Gun" on S-Snake because its bubbles contain the sea energy (like Kairouseki), so bubbles must touch S-Snake to weaken her.

Franky holds a bubble and uses it to pin S-Snake down on the ground (Franky puts the bubble over S-Snake like a solid ball). S-Snake starts crying and says she's in pain, so Franky panickly apologizes and his hand slip. S-Snake escapes and kicks Franky, turning him to stone.

Then S-Snake gives Usopp (that didn't do anything in the battle) and Lilith a cute wink and they smile at her cuteness. S-Snake uses "Mero Mero Merrow" to turn Usopp and Lilith to stone (we don't see if Pythagoras' head has turned to stone or not).

Cut to Shaka, he's walking down to the "Old Devil Fruit Research Room" underground (we can't see much of it, it seems it's a dark abandoned lab). Shaka finds the secret prision there, he's shocked when he sees Stella and all Cipher Pol agents.

Shaka: "Stella, so you're here!! Who on earth did such a thing!? I'll release you right now...

Stella realizes that there's someone in the shadow behind Shaka.

Stella: "Shaka, did you bring someone else with you?"

Shaka turns around and hears some footsteps. A mysterious person walks down the stairs behind Shaka (we can't see who's that person). The mysterious person shots Shaka in his head with a gun (it seems a normal gun, not something futuristic).

Shaka's head explodes with blood everywhere. Stella is shocked....

No break next week.

This is how Shanks become a Yonko - One Piece

In order for Blackbeard to become a Yonko, he had to defeat Wang Zhi, a former Rocks member. Luffy had to take out Kaido as well, and Buggy replaced Big Mom despite not having anything to do with her defeat. So how did Shanks get it?

Well, I think it was due to the defeat of Captain John. John was a former Rocks member. We can tell by the marines reaction that John was a great pirate in leagues with the Yonko.

I feel Shiki, Silver Axe, John and Wang Zhi were probably Yonko tier themselves but for some reason they never became Yonko. Shiki was the closest but his defeat to first Roger in Edd War and second to Garp at Marineford cost him.

Wang Zhi probably was content on Beehive island and was in a position where he stayed there and the marines never went after him due to the risk. Until the Rocky Port incident. Silver Axe probably went into hiding or something. But what happened to John?

We saw he was dead in Thriller Bark and was a killed by his own crew, now what i find odd is that his body is covered in bandages that existed before his fatal injuries. But if he was anywhere near Yonko tier, I can’t see his crew killing him. So for John to be killed by his crew feels off, however if he was already injured then maybe.

So this is what I’m thinking John was making moves 6 or 8 years ago and came into conflict with the Red Hair pirates. Shanks fought John and defeated him leaving him injured and gain enough credibility to become a Yonko. Maybe John was a Yonko or maybe back then there was only 3 so then Sanko.

Anyway John was known for his greed and cruelty so in his weakened state straight after a defeated his crew saw an opportunity and mutinied killing him for good and somehow Moria and Hogback got his body to make a zombie.

Well, a popular theory is Kid is the son of john. Kid is based off of William Kidd who was also a son of a pirate named John. Kid and John also share the same epithet: Captain. So what could Kid be John …..kid? His grandson? Either way it seems Kid has it out for Shanks and Buggy.

When Kid was arguing with Luffy about him becoming a Yonko while he didn’t he stopped and claimed that out of all of them the one that really gets under his skin is Buggy.

Now that is odd. From Kid’s perspective he knows Luffy, they both along with Law defeated emperors and yes, Kid and Law was 2 vs 1, but Luffy wasn’t fighting alone either he just more or less tagged in and out.

Anyway Kid by all means should be focusing his anger to Luffy. So why is Buggy becoming a yonko the one that has him the most annoyed, I mean Kid doesn’t know Buggy’s power is just for show and he’s been failing up this entire time, he should believe the hype.

Now the only thing I can think of that connects Kid and Buggy is their dislike of Shanks. Buggy hates Shanks because he startled him making him eat a devil fruit and drop a map into the sea, and because Shanks kind of just has this irritating personality where he doesn’t take Buggy seriously.

The only other thing that may connect them is Captain John. John may be a father or grandfather to Kid and Buggy is after John legendary treasure. Captain John was first mentioned when Buggy was randomly on some island with a skull digging for it. So if Kid is John’s kid perhaps they both had a run in looking for the treasure got into a fight and Buggy being Buggy got lucky and escaped leaving Kid frustrated and angry at the waste of time.

Now Kid crew up on an island in the South Blue that was not part of the World government and he crew up in poverty eventually leading his own gang and taking over the island to set up out to sea. Maybe he was close to John or maybe he hated John who was a cruel father and His dream was to go out to sea and prove himself as a better pirate than John kind of like Ace and Roger.

Kid actually shares some qualities with Ace, both are originally from the Aouth Blue and would have been the same age if Ace wasn’t carried for 20 months or was dead, both are not heads who can’t take a insult and resort to violence, both also bring out Luffy’s competitive side.

Ace grew up in Goa Kingdom, but he crew up in a bandit hideout and spent most of his time in the grey terminal or jungle. So while Ace never really became a gang leader himself he is connect to a gang life like Kid. Ace resented his father Roger and left to create a bigger legacy than his eventually he went after Whitebeard who was the closest to Roger‘s title, so if Ace beat Whitebeard then that would bring him closer to Roger’s legacy.

Similar Kid could have gone to sea in hopes of gaining enough power to eventually kill John however he received news that Shanks defeated him and in his weakened state his crew turned on him killing him.

Now Kid wants to fight Shanks as a means of proving he is the better pirate than John, and perhaps he believes Shanks has information on where John treasure is. He did tell Buggy he did but that was a lie….or was it?

Dragon Has The Highest Authority Over All Pacifista - One Piece

On Egghead we got the command hierarchy for the Pacifista. Apparently the Gorosei have the highest authority and Saturn is on his way.

Thing is: Vegapunk is smart – I can totally see him bullshitting the Gorosei when he had to demonstrate the hierarchy to them. I’d be baffled if the Gorosei are actually on top of the hierarchy order regarding the Seraphim.

Vegapunk is supposed to be a genius and as previously shown has some connection to Dragon/the RA + is possibly opposing the World government himself. If he actually made his potentially biggest enemy above himself in command over his greatest invention/weapon, then the “smartest man on the planet” is an idiot.

So what is the twist I’m talking about?

At the end of chapter 1058 Sabo called Dragon from Lulusia. But WHAT is Dragon doing when that happened? He ordered PX-0, Kuma himself, to tell him what happened at Mariejois – to which Kuma replies “I AM YOURS TO COMMAND, MASTER”.

I think that secretly Dragon has the highest authority over all Pacifista – even by Den Den Mushi, which is not possible for the Gorosei. When the time comes (at the end of this arc), Dragon starts the World War by ordering the Pacifista to kill Saturn and turn on the World Government.

In addition, Vegapunk once told Bonney that he did so for an unspeakable reason. So is that reason to help the Revolutionary Army have control over all Pacifista? That’s also the reason why Kuma asked Vegapunk to do it, he sacrificed himself for the great goal of the Revolutionary Army.

Yes, I know Dragon couldn’t stop Kuma when he left Kamabakka. We don’t know what was activated inside Kuma. I think now no one can control him. What do you think? Let me know your opinion in the comments.

Usopp’s Deadly Curse - One Piece

So I’ve always had this kind of far fetched theory regarding Usopp and his lineage. The theory involves 3 concepts from real life which I think may be the foundation of Usopp’s hidden strength and lineage. The concepts are as follows:

– The first is the story of Pinocchio and the “curse” that was placed upon him.

– The second is Thor, and his battle with the giants as well as Loki.

– The third is the prophecy of Ragnarok.

Usopp’s character design clearly draws inspiration from Pinocchio’s trademark long pointy nose, but there is another character that also has this design, Usopp’s mother Banchina. A character we barely get to see, since she is sick and bedridden until her death. At the time of her death Yasopp was off sailing with Shanks but Banchina never doubted Yasopp’s intentions or his nobility. Why would Banchina not resent Yasopp for leaving her to become a pirate?

Raising a child, near 20 years, and with an illness that eventually lead to her death. Why would Usopp not resent his father after all of that? The theory goes as follows; Usopp’s mother, and subsequently Usopp himself, are cursed. A curse which Yasopp has sailed the seas for years to try and break but has been unable to.

To understand the curse placed on Banchina first we have to understand some of the prophecy of Ragnarok. The short version of the prophecy is that it was made by a Giant, and talks about the end/rebirth of the world in which Odin and Thor are both killed. There are many parts to her prophecy but the main cause of all of it is Loki the god of mischief, a half Giant. I believe there will be a very similar prophecy made by a Giant in One Piece, a prophecy which states that a Half Giant will cause Ragnarok.

Due to this prophecy Giants have basically completely isolated themselves from the world, but there are still quite a few giants outside of Elbaf how could this be? Would the elders of Elbaf risk a giant leaving and having a child with a non giant?

Maybe the answer is a lot simpler than it seems. Giants are to remain on Elbaf, the price to leave would be to never reproduce. They may even have them drink something to make them infertile before they are allowed to leave/banished. Banchina however ignored the prophecy and got with Yasopp anyway, while she lied to giants about it.

The giants found out and cursed her to normal size, banishing her from Elbaf, a curse which eventually killed her. They believed since she was no longer a giant there was no way she could have a half-giant child. The curse made her nose grow to punish Banchina and anyone who loves her but Yasopp did so anyway. They hoped the curse wouldn’t be passed on to their child but upon seeing that Usopp too had the trademark long nose of the curse Yasopp left with Shanks to try and cure it.

How would this curse come about? I believe the easy answer is a devil fruit. A devil fruit that can manipulate someone’s lineage factor would probably be able to stop someone from reproducing, and also able to alter a Giants lineage factor to that of another species. What would happen if someone were to “lock” a giant’s lineage factor and replace it with that of a Tontatta? Would a giant suddenly grow a long nose and turn the size of a regular human?

That is what I believe happened to Banchina, and that the owner of this fruit that cursed both Usopp and Banchina is somewhere on Elbaf.
