Alessandra De Rossi recounts the moment she offered to be surrogate mom for sister Assunta

Alessandra De Rossi shared that she offered her sister once to be her surrogate following failed IVF.

Celeb sisters Assunta and Alessandra De Rossi are known to be thick as thieves. In fact, in a new interview on I Feel U, the younger De Rossi described her ate as her “partner-in-crime”.

Their relationship has always been strong, more so when the going got tough for her ate in recent years. It’s public knowledge that Assunta and her husband Jules Ledesma have been trying to get pregnant for 19 years, and their “miracle baby” was finally conceived last year when they least expected it. On October 23, 2020, they welcomed a healthy baby girl, Giulia Fiorentina Alessandra.

In the same interview, Assunta revealed that she had gone through an unsuccessful in vitro fertilization back in 2016.

Alex then shared that she stepped up for her ate and presented the idea that she be the surrogate of Assunta and Jules’ baby.

“Nu’ng nagpa-IVF siya tapos hindi nag-work, may dalawang eggs pa siyang natitira nu’n. Tapos sabi niya, ‘Ayaw ko na siya pagdaanan. Ayaw ko na pagdaanan ‘yung feeling.’ Sabi ko, ‘Gusto mo ba ako ang magdala? Wala din naman akong direksyon sa buhay,’” Alessandra share.

“Eh sumabog ‘yung ‘Kita Kita,’ sabi ko ‘Wait lang, may pupuntahan pa pala ako,’” she said.

But turning serious, Alessandra reiterated she was sincere about letting her womb carry her older sister’s child.

“Willing na akong gawin ‘yun para sa kanya ng walang bayad. Willing ako pero tinawanan lang niya ako. So hindi ko alam kung kinonsider ba niya in her head,” Alessandra related.

Meanwhile, she was among the first persons to know that Assunta is pregnant. She was then dumbfounded and don’t know what to feel about it.
