Ogie Diaz express his gratitude to Liza Soberano, paid tribute for the latter’s birthday

Ogie Diaz paid a tribute to actress Liza Soberano on her birthday for saving the life of his daughter.

Recently, Ogie took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he shared a life-saving event that happened in 2017.

It was in 2017 when his daughter Meerah Khel was born prematurely.

At the time, he has been paying as much as 30,000 pesos every day to the hospital.

Liza Soberano, who’s one of his talents, helped him pay the hospital bills brought by her endorsements.

“‘Pag nakikita ko ang mukha ng anak kong si Meerah Khel, hindi pwedeng hindi ko maalala si Liza Soberano. Noon pa, kahit kanino, ipinagmamalaki kong nabuhay ang anak kong prema’ture (25 weeks) — dahil kay Liza,” Ogie said.

He continued, “Halos 30k a day ang gastos ko kay Meerah sa NICU para madugtungan lang ang kanyang buh4y. Apat na buwang nakatira sa ospital ang anak ko at lagi, ang kailangan — pera. Gano’n nga yata talaga pag naoospital ka, ‘di pwedeng wala kang pera or else sa case ni Meerah, baka wala na ang anak ko or bula6 na siya or may problema sa kanyang immune system. Basta. Ang bait talaga ni Lord. Never Niya akong zinero balance sa bangko. ‘Pag paubos na, may dumarating. O kung wala pang dumarating, handa na akong ibenta isa-isa ang mga naipundar kong properties, mabu’hay lang ang anak ko.”

During those times, Ogie felt thankful because almost every week, there were endorsement deals coming in for Liza. He said, “At doon ako sa komisyon humuhugot lagi ng pambayad ng ospital.”

According to Ogie Diaz, he will remain grateful to Liza even if she decides not to renew her contract with him which is going to end in 2022.
